Terms of Service (Draft)
1. The parties
2. What Oddictor is
Oddictor is an experimental research preview. It compares public prediction-market prices with an experimental, uncalibrated statistical baseline and shows attributed public data about market activity. It is a research tool, not a trading venue, broker, exchange, bookmaker or adviser.
No execution: the service never executes, routes or intermediates any transaction, bet or trade. There is no custody of funds.
Indicative prices: displayed prices are delayed indicative snapshots from third-party sources, not executable quotes. Order-book depth is not verified.
Model estimates: model probabilities are experimental and uncalibrated. They are not observed probabilities, not the output of a validated backtest, and carry no accuracy claim.
3. Not advice; no guaranteed returns
Nothing on the site is investment, financial, legal or gambling advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any outcome. "Market ROI if the selected side wins" is a conditional arithmetic figure — (1 ÷ indicative price − 1) × 100, before fees and slippage — for the displayed outcome only. It is not expected profit. A wrong outcome can lose the full stake. Prediction markets may be restricted or illegal in your jurisdiction; you are solely responsible for your own compliance.
4. Accounts, pricing and availability
Current access: the research preview is free ($0). No account exists and no signup is available.
Planned tiers (not available): a paid "Plus" subscription is planned at $9/month. It cannot be purchased today; no payment is accepted or processed. Paid features under design consideration include account overview, watchlist sync, personal alerts and preferences. Any paid launch will be preceded by updated terms.
Alerts: the current alert endpoint is an owner-only test. Public alert signup is not enabled and enrollment guarantees nothing.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape or load the API in a way that degrades the service.
- Do not misrepresent site outputs as financial advice or guaranteed returns.
- Do not attempt to bypass the owner-only alert authentication.
- Do not use the service where doing so is unlawful.
6. Third-party data and links
Market data comes from third parties (Polymarket; Binance; MLB) and remains subject to those platforms' terms. Links to external platforms are provided for context; we do not control and are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Intellectual property
Oddictor branding and site design are presented here for this preview; ownership and licensing will be specified after the operator entity is designated. Third-party market data and marks remain subject to their respective owners' rights.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Data may be delayed, stale, incomplete or wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any trading or wagering losses, arising from use of the service.
9. Changes and termination
This is a research preview and may change or be discontinued at any time without notice. These draft terms will be revised before becoming effective; the version and date at the top identify the current draft.
